New Era Begins in Department
July marked not only the 150th Birthday celebration for the department but the beginning of a new era. To make it better for the department to approve fund raisers, and training seminars we will be going to one company instead of the current three. When decisions are made on the Fire Council it can take up to two months to get approval or committee members from all three companies. Currently each company has there own meeting night then after that the council meets. So to help speed things along and keep the department moving in the right direction to last another 150 years and longer we have decided to merge all three companies into one.
